“The Edersee in northern Hesse, around 50 kilometres west of Kassel, is one of Germany's largest reservoirs and lies beside the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. The best-known surf access is the Bringhäuser Bucht: a fairly small, sheltered bay with a very gently sloping beach and a large standing area – ideal for beginners.
