“Torbole lies at the northern end of Lake Garda between mountains rising to 2,000 metres, right next to Riva. The narrow northern basin produces two reliable thermal winds a day: the Pelér from the north, which builds from midnight and peaks between 8 and 11 AM at 12–20 knots, giving flat water off Torbole, and the Ora from the south-southwest, which sets in around noon and peaks between 2 and 5 PM with more chop. The spot has been a windsurf-scene icon since the 1980s. This double-wind system ma Progression Project forum Italy travel guidance independently identifies Lake Garda as the country's standout popular lake-foiling region. The post is regional corroboration and does not add a Torbole-specific launch, wind or parking detail.”
