“Punta Trettu lies on Sardinia's southwest coast opposite the island of Sant'Antioco, in the municipality of San Giovanni Suergiu – one of the most popular learning kite spots in the Mediterranean. A mirror-flat standing-depth area extends for several hundred metres over a sandy bottom, free of waves and chop. The prevailing wind is the Maestrale (Mistral) from the north-west, plus the Scirocco from the south-east. Thanks to the Venturi effect in the narrow channel between Sardinia and Sant'Antio”
