“Diani Beach lies around 30 km south of Mombasa on the Kenyan coast. The roughly 17 km stretch of white sand sits behind a fringing reef that produces clean flat water in both wind seasons. The Kaskazi from the north-east (December–March) is warm and very reliable: it switches on around 10am and holds at about 20 knots until sunset – flat conditions for the twin-tip. The Kusi from the south (June–September) is cooler and stronger, often 25 knots and up, bringing swell for wave riding. When is the The current local school explicitly offers wingfoil lessons at Diani and identifies Kongo River as its all-tide, sandy-bottom teaching area without reef or sea urchins. This corroborates active wingfoil operations at Diani while narrowing lesson context; the workbook's established Diani coordinate remains a broad beach pin, so confirm whether a session meets at Kongo River or another sector.”
