“Bulabog Beach on the east side of Boracay Island is the official watersports beach of the Philippines. During the northeast monsoon (Amihan) from roughly mid-November to April, the wind blows clean side-onshore into the lagoon, which is sheltered by an outer coral reef. Expect 15–25 knots almost every day, stronger at the core from December to March. The water is flat to choppy depending on tide – board-flat behind the reef at low water, ideal for blasting, freestyle and wingfoil.
