Hazards

Crandon is a heavily used guarded beach with swimmers and a broad offshore sandbar. Keep foil gear out of protected swim water, confirm mast clearance over the shallow bar/seagrass, avoid wildlife areas and plan for offshore drift into Biscayne Bay/Atlantic approaches.
