Route logistics require separate start and finish vehicles. “There are a few different places to end this run and a couple different starting points depending on condition, but this is the bulk of a full run when conditions are good. Alternatively, Wailea is a pretty common end point, or Ulua, or Keawakapu (Mana Kai) or maybe even a Kam. Requested-field batch 10 verified 2026-08-01: exact, nearby, regional, alternate-access, route, business-pin and community-candidate relationships remain explicit; unresolved items remain Unknown. Progression Project forum first-hand evidence documents two completed Kihei-to-Makena parawing runs of about 11 miles in 25–30 mph wind. The route begins with roughly a mile of strong wind but weak bumps, then develops downwind texture; wind faded near the end on both runs.”
