Hazards
Lakes Bay is shallow flat water used by windsurfers, kiters, paddlers and schools. Confirm mast depth/tide, private-versus-public access, bottom/debris and downwind recovery; keep clear of learners and preserve habitat, and do not assume the operator beach is public.
Parking & access
Current operator is on Lakes Bay and publishes wingfoil instruction, but its lesson beach/access terms are operator-controlled. Confirm parking and independent-launch permission with Extreme; nearby Lakes Bay Preserve is a separate non-motorized public launch: https://www.extremewindsurfing.com/ https://www.njconservation.org/preserve/lakes-bay-preserve/
