Factory Point is reached through a sensitive nature preserve with posted dune and bird-nesting closures. Access is sunrise-sunset with street parking only; account for a long carry/walk, shallow Back River approaches, current, boat traffic and exposed Chesapeake conditions, and avoid protected wildlife areas.
