Hazards
The exact current guide describes chop, small-to-medium waves, cross/cross-onshore winter wind and wave/current action that can make returning upwind difficult. Launch through a staffed kite station where possible and keep clear of the many beach users and other riders.
Parking & access
The exact guide says main-beach access is through limited beach roads or waterfront resorts; Surfpoint directs visitors through the Sea Horse Resort car park. No public-street fee claim is made: https://www.surfpoint-vietnam.com/spot-guide
“The former fishing village of Mui Ne on the coast of Bình Thuận province has been Asia's largest kitesurf hub since the early 2000s. During the northeast monsoon from November to April, a steady side-onshore wind blows along a kilometre-long sandy beach, usually 15–25 knots, and considerably more on the windiest days from January to March. The wind is thermally enhanced and often builds strongly in the afternoon – it is common to start the morning on a 12 m and drop to a 9 or 7 m later.
