Season

Operational access is year-round but not uniform: QMSC advertises seven-day summer opening and Wednesday-Sunday winter opening, with extended hours when windy. Water

Large, exposed raised reservoir with flatter areas and wind chop that increases with strength. Experience

Beginner through advanced under condition-appropriate supervision: QMSC offers wing tuition and describes flatter areas for progression, but a red strong-wind flag is for experienced sailors only. Hazards

Stay out of yellow-buoy exclusion zones and the east-side training area unless opened; low water can create marked shallow areas. Foil-specific collision hazards include moorings, warps, buoys, driftwood/floating debris and fish just below the surface, plus racing dinghies, keelboats, other foilers and rescue powerboats. Parking & access

Unload kit first, then park vehicles on the lower level as QMSC directs; keep Blue Badge bays for eligible users.
