N to NNE Meltemi, accelerated through the Paros-Antiparos channel and arriving side-shore at Pounta, is the supported setup. Season

Mid-May to mid-September is the supported Meltemi window, with July-August the short high season and strongest/crowded period. Water

Sandy, shallow and generally flat close to shore, becoming deeper after roughly the first 5-10 m and developing chop as the afternoon Meltemi strengthens. Hazards

Strong Venturi-accelerated Meltemi, high-season crowding, shallow foil depth, kite lines and learners in shared school water, localized chop and abrupt transition to deeper channel water are material. The center specifically asks visitors to learn its safety, storage, school-area and right-of-way rules. Parking & access

Road access to Pounta is established, but the current center pages do not publish a parking lot, fee, equipment-unloading right or overnight rule.
