Hazards
Nessnass is a named Dubai watersports beach but the broad public sources do not establish an exact foil zone. Confirm current access locally; avoid swimmers, other craft and any offshore Shamal angle, and do not rely on the nearby Kite Beach facilities: https://www.dubai.ae/living/sports-culture/water-sports https://www.visitdubai.com/en/places-to-visit/kite-beach
“Nessnass Beach – also known as Jumeirah Public Beach – sits about four kilometres south of Kite Beach along Jumeirah Beach Road, near Sunset Mall. It is the quieter of the two Dubai spots: the same winds as Kite Beach but with far more room, which is why the local scene has made it their go-to foil and freestyle area. The wind is the winter Shamal, a northwesterly system that blows from November to April at roughly 15–25 knots, often holding for several days in a row. The water is flat to lightl Requested-field batch 12 verified 2026-08-01: exact, nearby, route, area, operator and community-candidate relationships remain explicit; generic coordinate-only Surfline maps were removed where no meaningful report exists; unresolved items remain Unknown.”
