Thanks to the deep shipping channel into the bight, you can surf here relatively tide-independently – a rare advantage on this coast. At low water there is shallow standing depth; with strong southwest wind and a rising tide, clean ramps build up. You rig and launch on land and ride out on the Jade; in SW/W/N the wind runs freely across the bay. Are you allowed to kite at Eckwarderhörne? ”
