“A man-made harbour basin at the Hooksiel outer tide channel, right next to the North Sea beach on the Jadebusen bay. Roughly 2 to 3.5 hours before and after high water the huge, uniformly shallow bay fills up – a perfect stand-up area and a beginner's dream with a slightly muddy bottom. Just about 150 m off the bank the wind blows evenly and clean. In the fairway and the outflow towards the Jade, strong wind and ebbing water can produce real waves and current – terrain for advanced riders. Best ”
