Large, tide-free freshwater lake with a sheltered nearshore basin and open water deep enough for standard roughly 75-85 cm foil masts. The exact Paviljoen Tjeukemeer guide says beginners can use the sheltered entry only with basic control and reliable upwind ability, and separately warns that escaping the small basin is difficult.
