“Großenbrode lies on the mainland shore in front of the Fehmarnsund Bridge, opposite the island. The special thing about the Südstrand: two venues in one tiny spot. A spit just a few metres wide separates the marina from the open Baltic – while small waves roll outside, the harbour side holds smooth, flat water. The first roughly 50 m are standing depth with a light shorebreak, which also makes the spot interesting for wave beginners. A long, low mole runs several hundred metres out; when the win”
