“Göhren sits at the southern tip of the Mönchgut peninsula in the south-east of Rügen, flanked by shallow Bodden and open Baltic. The bay of the seaside resort is a small insider tip: quieter than neighbouring Thiessow, yet on certain days with similarly good conditions for Baltic waves. Clean wind comes mainly in east and north-east. This is tide-free Baltic: in E and NE the wind blows cleanly onto the bay, with flat chop to wave depending on strength. Who is Göhren right for?
