“The Wiek Bodden on the Wittow peninsula in northern Rügen counts among Germany's largest standing-depth areas. The learner zone on the eastern shore at Wiek measures roughly 700 by 4000 metres, has a sandy bottom and is tide-free – a sheltered inland body of the Baltic Sea with separate entries for kite and windsurf.
